These general terms and conditions (along with our Cookie Policy and Terms of Use) provide you with information about our company and the general and legal conditions (“Terms”) under which we provide products available on our website.
Why is it important to read them?
Please read these Terms carefully:
- Before submitting your order as they apply to all products available on our website (handmade ceramic containers, reed diffuser refills for home fragrances).
- To ensure you understand them, before ordering any product from our website.
Note that you will be required to accept these Terms before placing an order. If you do not accept these Terms, you will not be able to order products from our website. You must be 18 years or older to order products from our website.
The website www.byzaaman.com reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time and without justification.

The products offered are those listed on the site, subject to availability. ZAAMAN reserves the right to modify the product assortment at any time.
Each product is presented on the website with a description outlining its main features (fragrance, volume, usage, composition).
Products may slightly differ from images.
Product images on our website are for illustrative purposes only. While we have made every effort to display colors and shapes accurately, we cannot guarantee that your display will reflect the exact appearance of the products. Handmade products may differ slightly from these images.
Article 4: Ordering
How do we accept your order?
Your order will be accepted when we send you a confirmation, and a contract will then be established between you and us. Please note that an acknowledgment email confirming receipt of your order does not constitute acceptance. Any order placed on the website constitutes the formation of a distance contract between the Client and ZAAMAN. The sale will only be considered valid after full payment of the price.

We will assign you an order number, which will be communicated to you once your order is accepted. To assist us, please provide your order number when contacting us about your order.
If we can only partially accept your order.
If we are unable to fully accept your order due to stock availability, we will notify you in writing and process your order only for the available items. You will only be charged for the products in stock.
If we cannot accept your order.
If we are unable to accept your order, we will notify you in writing. This could be due to the product being out of stock or an error in the product’s price or description.
Article 5: Pricing and Payment

The product price (including VAT) will be indicated on our website.

Offers and promotions are subject to availability, and we may modify or withdraw them at any time without prior notice. We are not obligated to maintain offers or promotions for a specific period. Additional conditions may apply, which will be displayed.
When and how to pay?
We accept payments via VISA, MASTERCARD AND APPLE PAY. You must pay for the products before they are shipped. We will not charge your credit or debit card until your products are shipped.

Article 6: Retention of Ownership
ZAAMAN retains full ownership of the products sold until the full payment of the price, including principal, fees, and taxes.
Article 7: Delivery of Products
Where will we deliver?
Deliveries are made to the address indicated by the client during the order process.

When will we deliver your products?
We will deliver your products as soon as reasonably possible. Please refer to the delivery time table below:

We are not responsible for delays beyond our control.
If product delivery is delayed due to events beyond our control, we will contact you to inform you and take necessary steps to minimize the impact of the delay. We are not responsible for delays caused by such events. If there is a risk of a significant delay, you can contact us to terminate the contract and receive a refund for any products paid for but not received.
If you are not at home when the product is delivered.
If no one is available to receive the products and they cannot be left in your mailbox, please consult your tracking number for the location of your package.
If we cannot deliver.
If we are unable to deliver the products or if you do not pick them up from an access point within the specified period (5-7 days depending on the carrier), your order will be returned to us, canceled, and a refund will be issued.
If you have not received your order or received a damaged item.

When are you responsible for the products?
The product becomes your responsibility once we deliver it to the address you provided, and no claim is made within the stipulated three-day period.
When do you own the products?
You own a product once we have received full payment.
Article 8: Your Right of Withdrawal
Your rights depend on what you purchased:
- If the product is defective: You may have the legal right to terminate the contract, request a replacement, or receive a partial or full refund. See Article 10.
- If you changed your mind: You have the legal right to change your mind within 14 days of receiving the products and be refunded without penalty, except for return fees and potential penalties for damaged products. Products cannot be exchanged.
- Refunds will be made via bank transfer upon receipt of the products in their original condition.
- If a product is returned damaged or used, it will not be refunded. The client may request its return at their expense.
- Immediate refund for specific cases: Refunds will be issued immediately if :
- We informed you of a price or product description error and you choose not to proceed.
- There is a significant delay in delivery due to events beyond our control.
When will your refund be made?
Refunds will be processed promptly upon receipt of the returned product.
Article 9: Our Right to Terminate the Contract
We may terminate the contract for a product at any time by notifying you in writing if:
- You fail to make payment within the required timeframe.
- We suspect the transaction is fraudulent.
Article 10: Warranty
We are responsible for product defects under Articles L. 217-4 and following of the Consumer Code and latent defects under Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code.
All ZAAMAN products include:
- A legal warranty of conformity for defective, damaged, or incorrect products.
- A legal warranty against hidden defects making the products unfit for use.
If a product is non-compliant:
- Inform us within 30 days of delivery at the email address customerservice@byzaaman.com, including your order number.
- If the defect is only aesthetic, notify us within three days, and products must be returned unused.
You may request a replacement or refund, provided your choice does not impose disproportionate costs. Return fees will be reimbursed upon receipt of proof.
Article 11: Intellectual Property
All elements of the ZAAMAN website are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of ZAAMAN. No one is authorized to reproduce, exploit, or use elements of the site, such as photos, logos, visuals, or text, in any way.
Article 12: Your Personal Data
We will use your personal data only as defined in our Cookie Policy/GDPR policy.
Article 13: Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes between you and ZAAMAN are governed by French law. If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you are also protected under the mandatory provisions of the law in your country of residence.
Jurisdiction:
All disputes arising from these Terms or related to product purchases will be submitted exclusively to French courts, unless prohibited by law.
